Tamás Arrives From Budapest

Hungarian lawyer Tamás Börcsök enjoyed smooth sailing from Budapest to San Francisco, but winter weather in Eugene delayed the arrival of our ELAW Fellow by two days!

Tamás is here at last!

Tamás is a lawyer at Hungary’s Environmental Management and Law Association (EMLA). He is a PhD candidate in International and EU Law at the University of Pécs, Hungary.

Tamás will work one-on-one with ELAW Staff Attorneys and Staff Scientists. He was awarded a Director’s Distinction Scholarship from the University of Oregon’s American English Institute (AEI) where he is participating in the Intensive English Program. Thank you AEI!

Thanks also to the Trust for Mutual Understanding for making Tamás’ ELAW Fellowship possible. And thanks to Peg Boulay and Bruce Newhouse for providing Tamás with a wonderful Host Family.
